Alaska was always a bucket list destination for me. The wildlife and landscapes seemed larger than life, and when I finally had the opportunity to visit in 2024, it did not disappoint. From the coastal communities of Seward, Homer, and Valdez, to the rugged wilderness of Katmai National Park and Preserve and the vast northern landscapes around Coldfoot, every corner of the state felt extraordinary. Whether photographing bears, mountains, glaciers, or endless wilderness, I was continually reminded just how wild and awe inspiring Alaska truly is. It is a place that left a lasting impression on me, and one I cannot wait to return to and explore further.
